Our 13th Anniversary Hobo Brew, Chocolate Hobo, is set to be released on Saturday, May 16th, which coincides with the wrap up of American Craft Beer Week!
In the 1800’s, the original Ahnapee Brewery had a train track behind it which was likely a hot spot for hobo’s traveling the country to take a little break. That train track likely heard many colorful tales and probably saw a lot of different people. We continue with that train of thought (pun intended), and create a different Hobo brew every year to commemorate our anniversary!
This year’s Hobo Brew is called “Chocolate Hobo” and is a Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Chocolate Milk Stout mocked after our Two Stall Squared! Two Stall Squared was released at the opening of the Suamico taproom and again when we moved to the new taproom location in Algoma. Look for this release in bottles and on draft on May 16th at both taprooms!
